Tasting notes
This rich, dark ruby coloured wine is full-bodied and brimming with flavour. On the nose it’s got aromatic earthy tones, distinctly oak, but is balanced with red fruits like raspberries and hints of spices. The wine is relatively smooth to drink, but does have a tannin layer, making it slightly acidic and adding to the body of the wine. Distinct flavours can be tasted from the first sip with elements of dark chocolate, plum and cherry, followed by black fruit after taste making the wine palatable to drink on its own or with a meal. This is a solid red which manages to balance bitter and sweet flavours, becoming memorably delicious.
